Time of Your Life Reflection Blog Post

1. How many days or years do you spend doing all of these activities over the course of your lifetime? How much time do you have left in the end?

In all of your life, you spend 77.85 years of your life ( if you live for 80 years) is spent eating, working, having screen time, and sleeping. The remaining 2.13 years are left at the end.

2. How does this make you feel? How would you want to spend these years?

I would want to spend my remaining years reading, drawing, spending time with my friends and family, playing the piano, playing with my dog, watching movies, swimming, and going out.

3. Do you feel these estimates accurately reflect the time you will spend doing each activity in your own life time? If not, how would your own answers change the amount of time you had left over?

I think the at these estimates roughly reflect the time I will spend for each activity. If anything were to change, it might be the amount of sleep, as some people get less sleep when they are older. this might give me some more free time, but otherwise I feel this reflects me very well.

4. How did you use unit rates to solve this problem? What was difficult for you? What was easy?

I used unit rates to help solve the problem because using days, seconds, minutes, and hours helped me clarify what was happening when I was doing the work. The most difficult thing was remembering to write down the units, mostly because in some math, you don't always need to put the units inside the equation. Even though the most difficult thing was remembering the unit rates, when I remembered, it made the math so much easier.
