Accompanying & Evading Cluster Reflection

Concept: Accompanying and Evading
Social Respect Focus: Participation

Look back over the past 3 units (Touch Rugby, Flag Football, Basketball), and take a moment to reflect on your experiences and answer the questions below.

  1. Why did you give yourself this score?
I gave myself this score as when I looked over the rubric, I replayed all of the 3 sports we did and the accompanying and evading. During flag football and touch rugby, I learned how to pass the ball, hold the ball while running, learned the rules of the game, as well as how to accompany and evade. During basket ball, I practiced my dribbling, shooting, and refreshed my memory on how to pay, as well as learning how to accompany and evade.
  1. What is one thing you learned about the concept of Accompanying & Evading?
I learned that you can evade by running straight, cutting, or even passing the ball.

  1. What score did you give yourself and why?
I gave myself this score because I usually demonstrated everything on the rubric. I encouraged people, and always reminded them kindly if they forgot something, or did something wrong. I always played fairly, and gave other turns to play.

  1. What is one area of Participation you need to continue to work on and why?
I think that I need to work on assisting more in the group, and be a little more positive because I don't always contribute as much to the group as I could.
